Margaret started painting when she retired in 2013. Being a physicist, she felt that she had never had the free expression of artistic people and her initial aim was to be able to reproduce what she saw.

She has always always attended art classes, at first to learn the skills and more recently for guidance and improvement. 

​She enjoys painting landscapes, finding inspiration in the places she visits.​

Margaret paints from the heart, pictures always mean something special to her and she finds it hard to part with them!
